Cancellation and Refund Policy

We will be happy to cancel and refund your order 80% if your cancellation request is made before 3:00 pm the day before the delivery date of your order. Due to the nature of Melina Florez Floral Boutique products, some necessary preparations are made the day before for each order. We require prior notice of cancellation.

If your cancellation request is made between 3:01 pm and 10:00 pm the day before the delivery of your order we will refund 60% of your order total, calculated before taxes and shipping fee.

If your cancellation request is made after 10:01 pm the day before the delivery of your order, no refund will be made.

Cancellation request special dates: for these dates we double our efforts to do our best for you with careful logistics, for these dates we do not accept cancellations.

Cancellation requests should be sent to contact@melinaflorez.com in the subject line write “order cancellation”. The exact time of your email will be treated as the time of your cancellation request.

RETURN POLICY

We provide a product that contains life and is organic, are perishable and delicate products, its handling must be careful because it is sensitive to temperature, humidity and light. The only exception being the reception of a defective product or if you received a product that does not match your purchase order. This claim must be made within 6 hours of receiving the product, sending a photo and details of what happened to contact@melinaflorez.com. It is the responsibility of the recipient to follow the care instructions.

DELIVERY TIMES: the fastest delivery available is 24 hours. Deliveries at specific times are not made, due to multiple variables. Our delivery schedule is from 12 pm – 6 pm, we will deliver the product in that time slot, we do not guarantee an exact time. We do not make deliveries on Sundays.

 

Special dates (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, International Women’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, among others): For these dates, our delivery time frame will be extended, and we will make deliveries on Sundays. We will provide delivery details for each special date through our social media channels.

 

Deliveries to a residence (Home): Our team member will knock on the door and hand-deliver the product. If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, we will contact them by phone. We can leave the delivery in a secure place, such as a shaded area on the front porch (in summer, it will be delivered only in hand). If delivery is not possible, we can leave a message to coordinate a future delivery.

 

Deliveries to a hotel: our team member will deliver the product to the front desk of the hotel, deliveries to the room are not authorized; always detail the room number and name of the hotel. 

 

Deliveries to an office: our team member will deliver the product at the reception of the office giving the name of the final recipient (if applicable).

 

Special events: for weddings, birthdays, business meetings or any kind of special celebration send an email to contact@melinaflorez.com and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible. We would be delighted to be your best ally.

 

Change in delivery date: you will be able to change the date and place of delivery if your request is made before 15:00 hours the day before your delivery. Write an email to contact@melinaflorez.com, put in the subject: “delivery change” detailing clearly the changes you wish to make.

The answer is Yes, BUT before 10:00 am you must write us by SMS 7028900479 asking for the products available for same day delivery.  You might be lucky and be able to buy a product for same day delivery, give it a try!

  1. I have problems completing my order, what should I do?

  1. Can I change the address of my order?

Yes you can, to make the change you must do it before 3:00 pm the day before delivery.  Write us an email to contact@melinaflorez.com in the subject write “change of address”, the order number, name and cell phone number.

  1. Can I change the product I already ordered?

Yes you can, but to make the change you must take into account that it can be for a product of the same value, or for one of greater value by paying the difference. However, if you want to change the product for one of lesser value, the difference will not be refunded and you will get store credits.

  1. Is there any extra payment in addition to the cost of the product?

Our standard shipping charge is $25.00 for delivery in Las Vegas, Summerlin and Henderson only.

  1. Why haven’t I received confirmation of my order?

In case you have placed an order and in 15 minutes you have not received your order confirmation, it may be in your “junk mail” or “Spam” folder. In case you can’t find your email, you can write us an email to contact@melinaflorez.com name and cell phone number.

CARE & HANDLING

THE ROSES/FLOWERS SHOULD BE CARED FOR AND LOVED 

FLOWER BOXES:

  • The oasis base should be watered every day.
  • Add a small amount of water from the center to the base of the box, being careful not to wet the walls of the box.
  • Avoid exposing your flowers directly to sunlight and drafts of air.
  • Therefore, do not place the flower box under fans, on top of televisions or near heating and cooling ducts, stoves or ovens.
  • Your flower box is delicate and its longing is to live inside your home.

FLOWER BOXES WITH EDIBLES:

  • This is a perishable product and should be consumed within the next 6 hours.
  • If when you receive your floral box it is packed in tulle, remove the tulle as soon as possible.
  • Additional follow all the care in the flower boxes of the previous point.

 BOUQUETS AND ARRANGEMENTS IN VASES:

  • The water in your vases should be changed every day, your flowers love cold water.
  • Every two days cut the stems by removing one centimeter.
  • Avoid exposing your flowers directly to sunlight and drafts of air.
  • Therefore do not place the vase under fans, on top of televisions or near heating ducts, refrigeration, stoves or ovens.
  • Your flowers are delicate and their desire is to live inside your home.
